My first teacher of equine bodywork was Art Grunig, who developed a neurologically based modality he calls Reflex Balancing. I worked with Art for about five years, but he lives in Santa Rosa, California, and comes to New Mexico to do clinics only a couple of times a year.

I began my studies of Ortho-Bionomy so that I could continue studying energetic bodywork, and found that Reflex Balancing and Ortho complement each other very well.

Art has been training horses for over 40 years. He finds that his horses perform better with bodywork.
